Medellín is a year-round destination. Known as the “City of Eternal Spring,” it enjoys mild, pleasant weather every month. Light rain is common, especially in April–May and October–November, but it usually doesn’t last long and won’t stop you from enjoying the city’s parks, cafés, and mountain views.

The main airport serving Medellín is José María Córdova International Airport (MDE), located about 45 minutes from the city. It offers direct flights from major cities like Bogotá, Cartagena, Cali, and international hubs including Miami, Panama City, and Madrid, with airlines such as Avianca, LATAM, and Copa.
If you're coming from Bogotá, the flight takes about 1 hour.
The local airport (EOH) is located inside the city and operates flights on local routes (the pacific coast, san gil etc…) and low cost airlines such as Clic.
