Day by day itinerary
Day 1 - Medellín
Arrival in Medellín. Your local guide will greet you and take you to your hotel in the heart of the city.
Get familiar with the city with our “welcome to Medellín” tour of el Poblado.
You can’t miss a wonderful dinner at El Cielo restaurant from chef Juan Manuel Barrientos
Day 2 - Medellín
A day to discover the city. Head to downtown to get to know Fernando Botero art and work. Walk in the comuna 13 to understand how the city was totally transformed in the last 20 years.

Day 3 - Barichara
Hope on a small flight to San Gil local airport, only 40 min away from Barichara
Stroll through Barichara’s cobblestone streets. Admire its white-walled colonial architecture and numerous artisans workshops.
Have dinner at Elvia, a true revelation in this tiny village.
Day 4- Barichara
Start exploring the region softly with a cultural experience:
Ceramics Workshop: Shape clay on a traditional lathe with guidance from local artisans.
Coffee Experience at Esperanza Rodríguez’s Farm: Walk through shade-grown coffee fields, learn about the process, and enjoy a fresh cup with seasonal fruits.
Cooking Class: Prepare iconic Santander dishes like cabrito, arepas, and Mute Santandereano, while exchanging stories with a local chef.
Day 5- Barichara
Let’s start the adventure with some outdoors, amongst other options are:
Royal Road Hike to Guane: Follow ancient trails with stunning canyon views and visit the Archaeological Museum featuring 100-million-year-old fossils.
Go rafting on the Fonce River (Class II–III rapids), ideal for families and first-timers.
Horseback Ride to Santa Helena: Ride through farms growing citrus, coffee, and cacao with sweeping canyon views.
Day 6 - Barichara
Today, explore the Chicamocha canyon: hiking, mountain biking, paragliding or rafting on class IV rapids
End the day with a well deserved massage
Day 7- Cartagena
Fly from Bucaramanga to Cartagena. Your local guide will be waiting for you to drive you to your hotel.
After checking in, take a walking tour through the old town to get familiar with the city.
For dinner, we will assist you by booking a table at some of Cartagena’s best restaurants: Don Juan, Celele or Mar y Zielo are some of our favorites
Day 8 - Cartagena
Cartagena has so much to offer! For this morning you might want to take our “behind the doors of Getsemani” walking tour to discover this cool part of the city.
After some time to R&R at the hotel, avoiding the afternoon heat, you might want to meet one of our friendly bartender to enjoy a colombian rum tasting or one of our salsa teacher for a lesson.
For dinner, indulge at Carmen amazing tasting menu.
Day 9 -Back home
It is time to say goodbye to Cartagena.
To catch your flight back home, your local guide will drive you to the Cartagena airport (around 1h30 from your resort).
