Day by day itinerary

Day 1 - Bogotá

  • Arrival at El Dorado International Airport. Your local guide will greet you and take you to your hotel in the heart of the city.

  • After checking in, embark on a guided walking tour through La Candelaria, Bogotá’s historic quarter. Stroll along cobblestone streets, admire colonial architecture, and visit iconic landmarks like Plaza de Bolívar and the dazzling Gold Museum.

  • For a breathtaking view of the city, we’ll arrange your tickets to Monserrate—take the cable car up at sunset for the perfect introduction to Bogotá’s skyline.

Day 2 - Bogotá

  • Start your day with a fruit tasting at Paloquemao Market, sipping exotic juices like lulo and guanábana. Explore Colombia’s past at the National Museum, or stroll through the Botanical Garden, home to rare Andean orchids.

  • You enjoy art galleries? let our expert show you the best one in town (including some not open to the general public)

  • Enjoy a gourmet dinner at Leo Cocina y Cava, or any other great restaurant.

Day 3 - Medellín

  • After a short domestic flight, you land in the city of Medellín

  • Get familiar with the city with our “welcome to Medellín” tour of el Poblado.

  • You can’t miss a wonderful dinner at El Cielo restaurant from chef Juan Manuel Barrientos

Day 4 - Medellín

  • A day to discover the city. Head to downtown to get to know Fernando Botero art and work. Walk in the comuna 13 to understand how the city was totally transformed in the last 20 years.

Day 5- Medellín

  • Today can be dedicated to exploring the surroundings of the city, the mountain or the countryside

    • Skip the drive with a helicopter transfer to Guatapé, soaring over emerald valleys before landing at Piedra del Peñol to climb 740 steps for spectacular 360-degree views.

    • or dive into history at Santa fe de Antioquia

    • or taste some of the best colombian coffee, directly from a farm

Day 6 - Arrival in Cartagena

  • Arrival in Cartagena airport. Your local guide will be waiting for you to drive you to your hotel.

  • After checking in, take a walking tour through the old town to get familiar with the city.

  • For dinner, we will assist you by booking a table at some of Cartagena’s best restaurants: Don Juan, Celele or Mar y Zielo are some of our favorites

Day 7- Cartagena

  • Cartagena has so much to offer! For this morning you might want to take our “behind the doors of Getsemani” walking tour to discover this cool part of the city or a more historical tour outside of the walled city.

  • After some time to R&R at the hotel, avoiding the afternoon heat, you might want to meet one of our friendly bartender to enjoy a colombian rum tasting or one of our salsa teacher for a lesson.

  • For dinner, indulge at Carmen amazing tasting menu.

Day 8 - Cartagena

  • Cartagena old town is beautiful and you might just want to stay there forever. But don’t you want to see the real Cartagena away from the crowds of tourists? We have several options for that. Why not playing baseball with the local team? or helping the foundation “Granitos de Paz” who help families who need it. Or visiting the not touristy village of Soplavientos.

Day 9 - Back home

  • It is time to say goodbye to Cartagena.

  • Your local guide will drive you to the Cartagena airport on time for your flight.
